An afternoon with the hedgehog Gismund

Last year, due to Coronavirus, the appointment was skipped … but this year, and it is the sixth edition, Wwf Lecco returns to propose the traditional event dedicated to children, created in collaboration with the Monte Barro Park , and with the contribution of Il Campo dei Fiori (main sponsor of the event).

The invitation is addressed to those born in the years 2010/11/12/13/14 who, in the splendid setting of Villa Bertarelli in Galbiate, will move with their imagination among the pages of the booklet “Gismund and the others”, a publication created by WWF Lecco, to discover the colorful flowers, large trees and fantastic animals present on Monte Barro.

The appointment is for the afternoon of Saturday 9 October: the hedgehog Gismund will guide the children in carrying out creative activities designed to involve and bring the participants closer to the “magical” world of nature, from the creation of a nice puppet of the hedgehog Gismund to the artistic use of leaves, from the realization of pall ine of seeds to help the birds during the colder months to the surprises that the volunteers of WWF Lecco have prepared for the children (and which, being surprises, cannot be anticipated).

One copy of the booklet “Gismund and the others – Discovering the Wonders of Monte Barro” will be honored to every child present at the event. All the information to participate in the afternoon with Gismund is as always available on the Wff Lecco website.

The following Sunday another appointment is already scheduled for friends and sympathizers of the WWF Lecco: on the occasion of Urban Nature 2021, the festival of Nature in the city, a new proposal awaits adults and families with a challenge through the streets of the center of Lecco. The details will be available from Wednesday, simultaneously with the national launch of the Urban Nature event of WWF Italia.
