The 2021 edition of Aria di San Daniele is starting

The Consorzio del Prosciutto di San Daniele renews the appointment with the fourth edition of Aria di San Daniele, the traveling format of the historic Aria di Festa event which from October to December will bring the excellence and conviviality of San Daniele ham. After the success of the 2019 edition, followed by a year and a half of forced stop due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Aria di San Daniele will restart on the 15th October arriving in the main Italian cities, with a calendar full of events organized ad hoc to raise awareness and appreciate the excellence of San Daniele DOP. The first stop of the tour will be held in Milan during the weekends of 15 and 24 October , six dedicated event evenings with San Daniele ham.

The following fine settimana , the event will move to the city of Verona, which will be the backdrop to the Venetian stage of Aria di San Daniele from 29 to 31 October. In November, therefore, it will be the turn of Rome, which will host the event on the first two weekends of the month. From 19 to 21 and from 26 to 28 November, the aperitif evenings will reach Southern Italy in the city of Bari, to conclude the tour on the first fine settimana of December (from 3 to 5) in Catania. The “Aria di San Daniele” tour will arrive in restaurants, wine bars, bars and taverns spread throughout the Italian territory.

On the occasion of the event, the selected places will be set up with corners dedicated to the tasting of Dried ham. Inside, customers will find an innkeeper specialized in cutting to offer the San Daniele DOP sliced ​​by hand or by machine. During the evenings, according to the offer of the individual restaurateur, it will be possible to experiment combinations with traditional local foods and a wide choice of wines.

The tour will take place in total safety, in full respect of the rules relating to the contrast and containment of the spread of Coronavirus.

The tour started in 2017 generated over 150 aperitif evenings in the main Italian cities and will resume after having suffered the stop – imposed by the pandemic – for the 2020 edition and for the first half of 2021. “
