Mountain race, postponed to Sunday 8 August, the Reguzzo Sky Race

Postponement of one week for the Reguzzo Sky Race, initially scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday 1 August: the association Asd I Dolcissimi, given the adverse weather conditions scheduled for tomorrow, has decided to postpone the race, already skipped in 2020 due to the covid, by one week, therefore to Sunday 8 August .

The course

No changes to the course compared to what the athletes would have to face tomorrow and which, compared to the past, has been further lengthened and made even more difficult: a total of about 22km with a positive and negative difference in height of over 1,600 meters. Starting from the soccer field of Dosso del Grillo (1000m), you will walk a very short initial stretch of decauville, and then tackle a steep path that, passing from Baita Spanone (1561m), will lead to the Santo Stefano dam and the homonymous church ( 1840m). From here the skyracers will continue along the flat path that ends at Baitone di Quai (1890m), behind which a sharp climb begins to the Donati Refuge. We will then tackle the last uphill stretch on the very steep path that leads to the Bocchetta Reguzzo (2.622m). Then the descent towards the Bocchetta di Santo Stefano, the lake of Sopra, the lake of Mezzo, the dam of Santo Stefano and the arrival at Dosso del Grillo (1000m).

Scheduled also the Mini-Reguzzo SkyRace on a reduced route: about 12km with a positive and negative altitude difference of 840 meters.
