Serious road accident on Tuesday evening in Piazza San Babila, in the heart of Milan. There, according to the first information reported so far by the rescuers, a 21-year-old girl who was on board an electric scooter would have lost control of the vehicle and would have collapsed to the ground.
The 21-year-old was rescued by the crew of a 118 ambulance and taken in red code to the emergency room of the Policlinico hospital. In the crash he suffered several traumas and his condition is considered serious, although fortunately he should not be life threatening.
According to the first details, no other vehicle should have been involved in the accident, also because that section of the square is pedestrianized and closed to cars.
A little later, around one o'clock, a second crash occurred in via Cenisio. A 24-year-old, also aboard a scooter, was unable to “hold” the electric tablet and fell. Fortunately for him less serious injuries: he was hospitalized in yellow code at the Fatebenefratelli.
