Cosa fare a Milano - What to do

Exhibition of the Alpine troops for the centenary of the Guzzi

If from an urban and logistical point of view it is the railway that separates the headquarters of the Alpini from the Moto Guzzi, this division disappears supplanted by the affection and proximity of the Penne Nere towards the historic company in Mandello which this year celebrates the centenary of its foundation. Hence the choice, by the Ana association, to promote an exhibition on the occasion of the important birthday.

“It seemed right to remember that Guzzi also played an important role in the supply of vehicles to the Army and law enforcement agencies – comments the Mandello group leader Claudio Bianchi – The photographs refer mainly to the war period and the Alpini are little represented, but the important is to remember the many uses of the Guzzi “. The “Moto Guzzi con le stars” exhibition is accompanied by about thirty photographs to pay homage to the centenary of the L'Aquila factory. The location chosen for the exhibition is the avenue of the public gardens on the lake.

The opening is scheduled for Sunday 1 August, and will be open from 10 to 18. Being conceived as a traveling exhibition, the exhibition of the Alpine troops will then have other locations that will be communicated later. “One of the events during which we would like to re-propose the exhibition – add the promoters – is obviously the International Motorcycle Rally scheduled for the second week of September”. Subject to changes due to pandemics, not yet defined, any communications will be made known on the Facebook page of the black pens of Mandello or by writing to the email mandellolario.lecco@ana.it
