Covid bulletin, data for Thursday 29 July: 209 cases in Milan, hospitalizations rise

Another 661 covid positive people were found in Lombardy on Thursday 29 July, the cases emerged by analyzing 38,602 swabs; the ratio between swabs carried out and new positives is 1.71%. Another 209 people who contracted the coronavirus were found between Milan and its hinterland. The data were disclosed by the Region through the usual afternoon bulletin.

People admitted to intensive care for severe respiratory failure have increased by one unit compared to yesterday; in total, the resuscitation wards are treating 30 cases. The number of beds occupied by less severe patients increased by 12 units for a total of 206. In the region's hospitals there are a total of 236 people affected by SarsCov2 (13 more than on Wednesday).

The long death trail caused by the virus that killed 3 other people in a single day has not yet stopped; the (official) total has reached 33,822.
