Body painting draws the rebirth after the lock down. The photo exhibition of the MBA students

From 21 September to 10 October at the “Isolamento Sociale” exhibition at the Milano Photofestival. A collaboration between MBA Making Beauty Academy & IIF Istituto Italiano di Fotografia.

The exhibition

Emotions, reflections, feelings that have gone through life during a long difficult period become stimuli for a creative exploration that has the body as object, the imagination of the new, the desire for rebirth painted on the skin. “Social isolation” is the title of the photographic exhibition promoted by MBA-Making Beauty Academy, training academy for the profession of Make-Up Artist, which opens on 21 September as part of the prestigious Milan Photofestival, an exhibition dedicated to photo to the 16th edition, scheduled from 16 September to 31 October 2021.

Body painting as a form of rebirth after the lock down

Through the work of the first year students of the Professional Make-Up 20 course / 21, body painting becomes art, aesthetics becomes the expression of a possible world after isolation, rethinking of social relationships that have been sacrificed for too long, so the painting techniques acquired during the training course give life to unique and fascinating works thanks to experimental use of colors, textures and shapes. The works carried out, in line with the philosophy of the MBA Making Beauty Academy, aimed at acquiring skills but above all at enhancing the innate artistic skills of the pupils and pupils, were photographed by the students of the IIF Academy – Italian Institute of Photography in a extremely fruitful and surprising collaboration.

Passion, determination, creativity, the body at play with all the soul, the wonder of body painting is what the exhibition “Social isolation” intends to tell through look of the youngest. The vernissage will take place in the spaces of the MBA – Making Beauty Academy in Milan at the historic building of the Siam Società Encouragement Arti e Mestieri, in Via Santa Marta, 18 on 21 September from 18:30 to 20:30. The exhibition will be open from 21 September 2021 to 10 October 2021.
