At East Market everyone can become a DJ for a day
The third and last monthly episode of East Market kicks off on Sunday 26 September, the famous vntage market of accessories and clothing, with over 300 exhibitors.
In the over 6000 m2 of the former factory aeronautics in the Mecenate area you can also find collectibles, accessories, furniture, modern antiques, used, fleas, design, shoes and bags, books, comics, posters, magazines and prints, electronics, militaria, games and video games, recycling and reuse, various oddities, dishes, porcelain and utensils and much more.
How to become the official dj of East Market
After the first edition dedicated to food and the second to illustrated art, for this last appointment it will be the protagonist the music. Only for this Sunday the public will be able to become the official DJ of East Market and perform at the console in front of the audience of the event. How to do? Just compile a playlist lasting about an hour through the Spotify platform, name it “playlEAST” with your name and wait to be contacted. The East Market staff will select the best one by inviting the author or author to perform together with the resident DJs of the event. The winning playlist will also receive as a prize a voucher worth Euro 100 to be spent in the disc area of the market. From pop to rock, from electronic to rap, the great hits of the past and present passing through the lesser-known songs, nothing is excluded.
As per tradition, East Market stands out for a combination of moda, do-it-yourself, recycling market that winks at the new trends in moda and music, with multiform articles and always different ideas. The idea of vintage proposed by East Market is also culture and awareness of recycling. Not only to enhance the aesthetic and functional sense of objects, but also to inform and sensitize the public on the ecological aspects underlying this culture.
