Manzoni walk

The Manzonian Walk 2021 was presented in the Municipality, a non-competitive free-pace running event organized by LTM Lecco in collaboration with the Municipality of Lecco itself, scheduled for next 3 October. After the forced suspension of last year, the Walk in the footsteps of Manzoni returns through the streets of Lecco through the places dear to the author. Three different routes designed for all ages: the blue route of 5.5 km, the orange route of 11 km and the red route of 20 km. Participants will gather at the square of the “La Meridiana” Shopping Center, equipped with green certification and mask for gatherings.

The proceeds of the initiative will be donated to Telethon. During the press conference to present the event, Simona Piazza and Giovanni Cattaneo, councilors of the Municipality of Lecco in Culture and Territorial Attractiveness, took part; Alfredo Polvara of LTM and Renato Milani, Telethon coordinator of the Lecco area, and Michela Giusti of ilfiloTeatro.

The event will start on Sunday 3 October at 8.30 from the “La Meridiana” Shopping Center.

The walk is divided into three routes:

BLUE: which includes a 5.5 KM route ORANGE: which provides a 11 KM route RED: which provides a 20 KM route

Places are limited to 2000 participants and each participant will receive a race pack.
