Francesco Baccini and Giorgio Conte. They are the two artists-protagonists of the musical shows that find space in the Other itineraries exhibition, inaugurated at the end of June with a series of theatrical performances, plus an “unscheduled” at Villa Gomes, already staged last weekend with Spectacular presence for Other small paths. Thursday 15 July at 9 pm in Piazza Garibaldi the first artist of the review will perform: Francesco Baccini in a “Live in trio” concert, together with Fabio Schimmenti (guitar) and Massimiliano Baldaccini (drums). The performance will retrace the musical repertoire of Baccini, son of the Genoese school and one of the most eclectic authors of the Italian music scene.

“Polyhedral artist”

“Francesco Baccini is a multifaceted artist – underlines the councilor for Cultura Simona Piazza – who, thanks to her talent, will be able to involve all kinds of audiences who will be able to attend her show. We are proud to offer our city an author of her level, who underlines the commitment of the administration and municipal services in creating quality events. Other itineraries is an exhibition that enhances various artistic expressions, which at the weekend gave the little ones new moments of fun and socializing at Villa Gomes and which will continue until August 6 “.

Music, reading and narrations

The second musical performance of the review is scheduled for Friday 6 August at 9 pm in Piazza Garibaldi: Giorgio Conte in a concert “In encroaching”, together with Alessandro N idi (piano), Alberto Parone (drums and vocal bass) and Bati Bertolio (accordion and vibrandoneon). The exhibition traces an alternation of pieces from the great repertoire of Giorgio Conte, from the 60s to today. The show, interspersed and “seasoned” with small gags and anecdotes from the artist's life, uses readings and narratives that lead the public to discover, with him, some “Landscapes” of the Italian song and the world that most belongs to him. . Giorgio Conte is also the song “Stringimi forte”, soundtrack of the reopening campaign.

In case of rain on the days scheduled for the two concerts, the performances will be held in the Don Ticozzi room, in via Giuseppe Ongania 4. The concerts are free admission subject to availability.
