“Italian Street Food Awards” a Eatinero Cremona 2021

Everything is ready: from 24 to 26 September the Eatinero food truck caravan, with all their regional, ethnic and gourmet specialties served in “street food” mode, will stop in Piazza Roma in Cremona for three days based on excellent food, drinks, music and conviviality in the open air.

From 6pm on Friday until 24pm on Sunday, the whole fine settimana will be a journey to discover the flavors and wonderful vans with a unique design.

Eatinero is synonymous with high quality street food prepared and cooked on the spot right on board the food trucks: gourmet burgers and sandwiches, grilled meat, fish fritters, ethnic food, regional cuisine and a lot of passion are the ingredients that will give life to a great party dedicated to taste “on the road”.

Fixed presence at all the events of Eatinero, which have been in tune since 2015, there will be the Birrabus and the Birracamper of Birra di Classe, which will not be competing at the Italian Street Food Awards but will present their almost infinite selection of craft beers produced by award-winning Italian microbreweries (about forty references in total), tapped on vintage vehicles reworked in a modern key, as it is in their unmistakable style.

On Friday the event will go live precisely from 6 pm, while on Saturday and Sunday the kitchens will be open and operational all day, from lunch to dinner through the pre-evening aperitif until midnight (free admission).

ITALIAN STREET FOOD AWARDS

The opportunity is not to be missed: during the long fine settimana of Eatinero-Cremona, street chefs will have the opportunity to participate in the most important street food competition in the world , at the end of which the best Italian food truck will be selected.

The kitchens on wheels will therefore compete to win the coveted title offered by the “Italian Street Food Awards”, the national variation of the contest on a global scale founded in 2017 by Richard Johnson, award-winning journalist and gastronomic consultant, author of the best-selling “Street Food Revolution” and host of various BBC themed formats.

The European project Street Food Awards is based on a great conviction, expressed in the programmatic manifesto, according to which “never before have people wanted to eat street food, cooked and served in the right way, informally and in the open air … our mission is to find the best out there! ”.
